FERRARA BAKERY

195 Grand Street / Between Mulberry & Mott Street / 212-226-6150

NYC’s Famous Italian Bakery Since 1892

This authentic Italian bakery has been here since 1892; talk about tradition!  With over 200 Italian specialties, you ain’t gonna walk away hungry or unhappy with the mouth-watering treats.  You might be unhappy about them calories you just inhaled, but you only get to live once!

This bakery is in the heart of Little Italy a few blocks off Canal Street and the Bowery.  You can’t miss it, especially with the huge lighted sign attached to the side of the building.  Believe me, you don’t want to miss it.

No matter what youze guys may think, it’s not all about the cannoli.  Don’t get me wrong, Ferrara’s Bakery has cannolis that you could kill for, but it would be highly disrespectful to ignore their Tiramisu cake, 8”.   This dessert has layers of handmade ladyfingers doused with espresso coffee and coffee liquor, smothered with a blind of the best mascarpone cheese, fresh cream, and whole eggs.  Mama mia! Or how about their flaky sfogliatelle pastry filled with ricotta and candied fruit? You ain’t gonna go no where else for authentic Italian desserts.

Oh yeah, Joe Valachi himself said that Ferrara’s cannoli was one of the things he missed most about the city.  He should have more; you certainly can’t talk if you’re eating cannolis!

They ship nationwide so there ain’t any excuse for youze not getting these treats.  And when you order, don’t forget the cannoli.
